ABOUT NATALIE

My name is Natalie and I am an Authorised Civil Celebrant, specialising in weddings.

A little bit about me - I grew up on the Gold Coast where I was raised in a loving family with my Mum, Dad and my beautiful big brother. My Mum and Dad have been married for over 30 years and I have learnt so many things from them. Just to name a few, they have taught me the value of love; to always be kind and positive; to help anyone (whether they need it or not); and to always laugh, smile and not to sweat the small stuff! I went to High School on the Gold Coast and completed a degree in Psychology followed by a Graduate Diploma in Primary Teaching.

After all my studies I jumped on a plane and travelled the world! I have a love for travelling, experiencing new places and learning new traditions. My travels have taken me to Canada, United States, Iceland, Europe (3 times), UK, Thailand and New Zealand just to name a few. I was a true gypsy for a while there!

After always being a true believer in love and a tragic romantic, I was called into Celebrancy. After training with Rose training in Brisbane (which I was drawn to due to my name), I knew this is what I was meant to do! I absolutely love weddings of all varieties and I feel so honoured to play such a  vital role in my beautiful couples magical day.

I will undoubtedly be your calming presence on what can be a very stressful day. I am a master at organising all things ceremony and guiding your day, and I will always be smiling (or crying) with you on your special day.

I love spending time with my beautiful Fiance. We met 6 years ago through my soccer club and we are now due to get married any minute. After one postponement thanks to Covid, we will celebrate our special day bigger and better than before. I have learnt so many wonderful things from my partner. He has taught me that love is precious, especially when you find it with your partner for life; how beautiful mornings are when you rise with the sun and get the most out of your day. I have learnt passion and purpose, to always love everything you do in life and follow your dreams. He is my best friend and guiding light!

I love the outdoors, camping, adventure, sunrises and sunsets, staying active, seeing my beloved family and friends! And of course, I love getting to know my beautiful couples. I love to hear their love stories and writing my own special take on it. I love seeing how happy my couples are leading up to their wedding day and throughout their ceremony.
